HR Coordinator
Reading Students' Union exists to improve the lives of all University of Reading students, every day.
Reading SU is a student-led charity based on the University of Reading's Whiteknights Campus, everything we do is student inspired and, as a not-for-profit organisation, all funds raised through our activities are passed right back into the students’ union to benefit students.
Our mission is to provide a platform for good, creating a community where all voices are equal, and everyone is free and safe to express themselves, enjoy good times with friends and feel supported on their path through University, leading to a brighter future for all.
The HR Coordinator role, based in the Reading SU building on campus, is all about keeping things ticking behind the scenes, especially when it comes to recruitment and onboarding new starters. - General admin: Supporting with letters, reports, managing email inboxes and day-to-day queries from staff
- Payroll support: Helping prep monthly payroll changes and liaising with finance
- Project support: Getting involved in HR projects like wellbeing, engagement, and training initiatives
About you:
- Qualified at CIPD Level 3 (or higher) – this is essential
- Solid admin experience in HR or recruitment
- Experience coordinating recruitment and onboarding processes
- Brilliant organisational skills – you love a good checklist and know how to prioritise
- Confident communicator – written and verbal

- Discreet and professional when handling sensitive info
